Robyn Coffman

Hi there. First, I want you to know, I've been unlocking, resisting, and owning my own growth for close to 40 years, seriously. Everything I offer flows from my personal journey and from coming alongside my clients and those close to me. I know the vulnerability, courage, and investment “getting healthy” takes. I tell you, it's worth it. And you're not alone.

I’m Robyn Coffman. I am a professional speaker, teacher, counselor, and coach. What I do now is what I call TheraCoaching, a creative blend of my two passions.

Technically, I am a Board Certified Christian Counselor, Certified Life Coach and an active member of the American Association for Christian Counselors.

I earned my Bachelors of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from California Polytechnic University, Pomona in 1995 and my Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary in 1998.

Now for the fun stuff. I married my soulmate, Joey, in 1993 and we are getting close to celebrating 30 years of marriage.

Over the past three decades, we’ve experienced some pretty life-changing adventures. Here are a couple highlights.

  • We’ve traveled by ship, plane, RV, and train, discovering quaint and beautiful places around the world (Side note: I prefer places that have warm water and salty air or cobblestone streets with tea rooms nearby. Honestly, just being in an international airport does something for me.)

  • We founded a non-profit that provides exceptional soul care to ministry leaders and their marriages, of which I am the current executive director. (See 10|10 Ministries

  • We raised two amazing kids, Clayton and Maddy, who recently both launched. This new life season has created space for me to pour more into one of my favorite loves, creating content. (Check out my Patreon page)

Southern California and Prescott, Arizona are home to me. If I’m not reading and writing in a local coffee shop in our small, mile high town, creating beautiful moments and spaces, you’ll find me living dockside on our 34 foot boat in Shelter Island, San Diego.

Oh, and to be sure, my life is not all cupcakes and sprinkles. Unfortunately, like most, tragedy upon tragedy struck my life starting when I was six years old. My story is riddled with multiple losses and trauma. Yet, through it all, with the transformative power of Jesus, a patient husband, a loving family, and a good therapist of my own, I have a joy and hope that rises above it all.
